Wildlife Groundswell Celebration of Nature 2026 Highlights Reel

Welcome to Wildlife Groundswell’s Celebration of Nature – Re-awakening the Lizard 2026, hosted by the generous support of the Oates Family, who allowed us to use Rosuick Organic Farm near St Martin, and have given us a valuable link into the farming community.

The Lizard is an area of incredible natural biodiversity in Cornwall, England.

Wildlife Groundswell began through a conversation of Lizard residents in the summer of 2019. We are now a Community Interest Company (company no. 15021589), turning the tide to help nature and people thrive – across the Lizard and beyond.

Growing from Cornwall’s Lizard peninsula, Wildlife Groundswell is an independent, community-led group working from the ground up to help nature thrive. From farms to gardens, soil to water, animals to plants, we bring people together to create a flourishing, wilder future. We’re delighted to be part of the Linking the Lizard partnership.

Our Celebration of Nature Festival on the 2026 May Bank Holiday Monday was a fabulous day, with so many people coming together to share in the wonderful natural world, here on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall. Our heartfelt thanks to so many people who worked hard to make this happen, and especially to the Oates family at Rosuick for welcoming us to their beautiful farm.
